The following procedure relating to rerouting, cancellation and refund for FIT and AD/ID passengers shall take effect from the 01 March 2009, and supersedes all previous procedure under reference No.012/YA(HO)102/03 dated the 01 August 2003.
1. Name or Route Change
1.1. Name or route change is allowable for tickets before original date of departure only one time upon written report of original passenger himself or his/her travel agent whose name or code number is originally quoted in ticket tour box. Name change shall be done at the YA Head Office only.
( For example, ticket shall be accepted for name change if presented before original date of departure. And it shall be rejected for name change if presented after day of departure. However, it shall be considered as refund according to refund regulation.)
1.2. USD/FEC 10/- to be charged for reissuing ticket under changed name.
2. Rerouting
2.1. Rerouting on the same fare level. (e.g. HEH/RGN to NYU/RGN)
- No collection of service charge.
- However, rerouting shall be allowed free of charge only one time; USD5/- will be charged if rerouted for second time.
2.2. Rerouting higher fare ticket to lower fare ticket (e.g. MDL/RGN to NYU/RGN)
- No refund of different fare on voluntary rerouting.
- No collection of service charges.
2.3. Rerouting lower fare to higher fare level ticket (e.g. HEH/RGN to MDL/RGN )
- to collect different fare based on published fare, and to reissue new ticket according to ticketing procedure.
- No admin/service charges collection.
3 .Date Change/Date Transfer
3.1. No collection of charges for date transfer if passenger/agent reports 24 hours before departure time.
3.2. USD/FEC 5/- shall be charged for date transfer if reported less than 24 hours before departure time.
3.3. USD/FEC 10/- shall be charged if reported after flight departure; it shall be treated as no show case.
4. Correction to wrongly-written ticket:
4.1 MMK500 shall be levied for reissuing against wrongly-written ticket, all coupons of which, however, must be in good intact or in good set and order. Waiver of charges could be authorized by General Manager in consideration of numbers of mistake committed by ticketing staff out of carelessness.
5. Replacement of lost ticket.
5.1. USD/FEC15 will be levied to issue the replacement ticket against the lost.(Reported office is required to seek authority and ticketing details of the lost ticket from the original issuing office, and to obtain police report from the passenger(s).
6. Refund
6.1. 12% of the addition amount of relevant Published Fare and applicable Surcharge (YR) shall be charged or deducted for refund. Minimum USD/FEC10.00 ).
6.2.USD/FEC10.00 shall be charged for refund of Tour Guide and AD-ID tickets.
